Ed and I showed up early to finish the seat pendant and wire it into the cars power before Ron finished speaking at the Hilton to the Chiropractors convention but we blew a fuse. We had to quickly wire the seat to a spare 12v battery so it would be adjustable when Ron arrived to be fitted.
Ron arrived early - Ed and I had to learn how to place Ron into the bird under his wife Kelli's instruction.
Once in the car, we quickly realized Ron's 6' 3" frame barely fit. The custom air baffle seat and placement was good and can now be covered. Arm rests were placed next to Ron for custom fabrication but Ron may choose a hand tray instead due to balance issues. Current seat placement punch list now looks like this;
1. Seat needs to be lowered 4" to support Ron's hieght and helmet constraints. Floor pan mod to start next week.
2. Five point harness purchase and installation
3. Removable drivers door and steering wheel due to clearance issues when placing Ron into car.
4. Prototype hand tray instead of armrests
Finally, we will be conference calling with Ron the Quad Squad and Dave Aitchenson of dignified motors regarding chin control as it relates to seat placement
